Fetch and More is proud to offer training to dogs of all breeds. Our service area is the entire Eastern Seaboard of the United States, westward to the Mississippi River. Our Lead Trainer is John Bellocchio, M. Phil., Ed.S., CCDT, PPG, who has a great deal of experience dealing with issues of all kinds, including general obedience, Canine Good Citizen Training, aggressive and anxiety related behaviors, search and rescue training, and more. Here’s a look at the types of training we offer:
- General obedience: General obedience training is just that – getting your pup ready to live indoors, following the basic commands of sit, stay, come, down, etc. Most importantly, this type of training ensures your pup relieves himself outside of your home.
- Emotional support training: Through a variety of nationally recognized methods, we work to ensure your dog of any age can provide emotional support to you for any condition recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or comparable state or municipal ordinance. This includes those suffering with PTSD.
- Calming aggressive behaviors: One of the most common calls we receive is for dog aggression, be it dog on dog, dog on person, or dog on other animal aggression. Through a variety of the most humane methods, we calmly and carefully put a stop to this unwarranted and unnecessary behavior.
- Search and rescue training: for teams and individuals, we can train your pup for tracking, trailing, or cadaver search. This type of training requires intensive work on the part of the trainer and the handler and must be scheduled several weeks in advance. Please reach out to us for details on this type of training. Fetch and More considers each individual, each dog, and each situation unique – for pricing on your individual situation, please reach out to us accordingly. We look forward to making you and your pup the best of friends with the best of results!
